Finland’s Pavilion at COP30
Cool by nature is who we are, how we work, and where we come from
In Finland, cool by nature is way more than a reference to our northern climate. It’s a mindset, a way of working, and a promise of lasting impact.
We act cool when facing the toughest global challenges, turning pressure into progress. As President Stubb put it: cool, calm, collected. That’s also how Finland acts in the world of climate solutions.
Here, moving forward is our second nature. Collaboration between business, research, and government makes climate action resilient, scalable, and lasting.
From digital breakthroughs to circular economy, from nature-based solutions to clean energy, Finland proves that cool is more than attitude. It’s action.
At COP30, Finland’s cool is also collective. More than 40 forerunner companies, universities, cities, funds, networks, industry associations, civil societies, ministries and NGOs are joining forces in one pavilion and one agenda. Together, we showcase climate solutions that are innovative and built to last.
This is our open invitation to work with us, and to scale the solutions the world needs.

Finland at COP30
Finland is organizing its own pavilion at the UN Climate Change Conference, COP30, taking place in Belém, Brazil, from 10–21 November 2025.
The Finland Pavilion is a joint initiative of Miltton, Climate Leadership Coalition (CLC), Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK), Technology Industries of Finland, and the Finland Chamber of Commerce. The Pavilion is being developed in close collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment and Business Finland.
The Finland Pavilion brings together 17 partners, with Nokia and Outokumpu serving as main partners, representing a broad range of sectors from heavy industry to research and urban innovation. The programme will be further enriched by events organized by civil society organizations, public authorities, and other NGOs selected through the Open Call category. The pavilion’s key themes focus on for example, fossil-free industrial society, digitalisation and climate-smart solutions, future of the circular and bioeconomy, and resilience under climate pressure. These themes reflect Finland’s strengths as a green innovation hub and guide the curation of the pavilion’s official programme.
This collaboration builds on the success of Finland's presence at previous COPs. Once again, we are coming together to highlight solutions born of resilience: innovations shaped by northern grit and global ambition.
