Climate Leadership Coalition is Europe’s largest climate-business network, comprising 99 corporate, city, university, and research institutional members. Our members believe that transition to a sustainable world can be economically beneficial, viable, and financeable. For the coming autumn, we are looking for an intern to join our team in making this reality!

Partnership project intern

The intern will have responsibilities within two key projects of CLC.

  1. The first project is about COP29 and CLC’s delegation. The intern will contribute to the planning and implementation of CLC’s events and communications leading up to COP29 in Finland, as well as during the conference in Baku, Azerbaijan. This role will be an integral part of the team responsible for producing the Finnish pavilion and its program in collaboration with partner companies, and industry organizations. With an expected attendance of over 40,000 people, COP29 will be a significant stop on the road to the post-Paris agreement. The intern is expected to spend approximately two weeks at COP29, in Baku, Azerbaijan, in November 2024. The main tasks are to support the CLC team in organizing events, communicating efficiently, and preparing materials for the team to use before and during COP29.
  2. Second project is about accelerating green transition on city and regional levels. The intern will support CLC’s network activities, the analysis of cross-sectoral roadmaps for green transition in a municipal context and communication efforts.

The person we are looking for has a can-do-attitude, the capability to solve problems, can handle high-pressure situations, and make decisions on the go. You have a strong set of social skills, and you are a keen communicator. We appreciate enthusiasm and interest towards climate change mitigation and understanding of private sector collaboration in the matter.
