Climate Leadership Coalition (CLC), which develops business-driven solutions to address climate change, has accepted the PR and consultancy company Miltton as a new organizational member.
Miltton’s membership begins on January 1, 2023 and further strengthens CLC’s position as the largest non-profit climate business network in Europe by membership.
“We are committed to sustainable business operations and constantly develop both our own sustainability and our services to clients. We are working on Miltton’s own sustainability programme by which we want to answer to our stakeholders’ needs and lead the way towards a more sustainable world through communications, marketing and societal affairs. Our handprint is at its biggest when we get to participate in our clients’ strategy work. For example, when new regulation comes into force, we have our finger on the pulse; we can help our clients to take this into account in their own business and communications,” says Mathias Järnström, Managing Director, Miltton Group.
Karl-Henrik Sundström, chairman of CLC’s Board, warmly welcomes Miltton to CLC.
“Our growing membership base and network of partners enhance CLC’s potential to support Finnish, Nordic, EU and global decision-makers in work to mitigate climate change and implementing the European Green Deal. We are looking forward to working together in climate change mitigation with Miltton, the industry leader joining our network”, says Karl-Henrik Sundström.
CLC members employ globally 540,000 people and represent almost 70 percent of the market cap of the OMX Nasdaq Helsinki stock exchange. CLC’s members believe that society’s transition towards a sustainable economy and consumption is not only possible but also economically viable.
